I have been reading about dimethlyglycine(DMG) for the last few months. I had someone ask me to get more information on glycine, an amino acid, to help prevent seizures in dogs. Glycine is one of the ingredients in the Bertes Zyme and Bertes Digestion products, so I decided to do some research on this amino acid.
Diethylglycine is a derivative of the amino acid, glycine. DMG helps with neurotransmitters in the body, and is found to help control cholesterol (not an issue with dogs). It is also used to help endurance and stamina. It is thought to be able to help oxidize the blood, which is not only useful for fighting fatigue, but may also be helpful in immune problems and with certain types of cancer treatment. It may have some usefulness in controlling glucose metabolism and helpful with brain function.

DMG is also mentioned in helping with liver metabolism, circulation and heart function. DSM does help in the production of SAMe in the body, which helps support the liver.
There is also speculation DMG may help with cataracts because of its ability to bring oxygen to the eyes.
For more on this, and use in dogs:
DMG has also been approved as a supplement by the Autism Research Institute. It is also used by race horses for endurance and is thought to decrease muscle cramping and increase running speed. For these sources and more information:
Because of the wide range of uses and benefits, B-Naturals decided to carry this supplement in the liquid form. Application and use of liquid is easier to use and probably more effective than DMG in powder or pill form. This product can be used for dogs, cats and birds.

B-Naturals are also introducing Immediacare G.I., a probiotic in paste form which comes in an easy to dispense tube.
I recently had a litter of two puppies born by C section. I had to bottle feed them until their mother was recovered enough for her milk to come in. Without the help of hormones such as oxitosine, lactation can be delayed. I needed help in an easy to dispense form of probiotics, to help the puppies maintain firm stools.< It isn’t always easy to mix the powdered Ultra Probiotic Powder for puppies, while on the road or for dogs who are too debilitated to eat. I have found the paste form to be invaluable for these situations.< I just turned the wheel on the dispenser for the right amount and placed it in the puppy’s mouth.< This was done twice daily until mom’s milk was enough to take them off the bottle.<
I throw a tube of the Immediacare in my grooming bag when I go to dog shows or I’m on a road trip with my dogs.<
Here is my recipe for weaning puppies to a raw diet:
The puppies are doing great, and are now four weeks old! < Here’s a picture after their first meal.
Immediacare G.I. is recommended for loose stools and to support rapid gastrointestinal balance associated with microflora imbalances, garbage gut, food sensitivities, stress, age and traveling.
