<td class="C3-NX1">This article is the first in a series of newsletters written to address diet needs for special conditions, along with sample diets and resources for further information. I get many requests for diet information for dogs with special needs, and I thought it beneficial to organize this information into multiple parts so they could be printed by topic and used for easy reference. They will also be posted on the B-Naturals website for easy future access.<img src="http://www.b-naturals.com/newsletter/wp-admin/images/spacer.gif" align="top" border="0" height="24" width="8" /></td>

<td class="C3-NX1">This liver is designed to filter the blood by removing toxins. It is also the central site where most drugs are metabolized. It does have the capability of regenerating itself, which is a unique feature of this organ. However, the liver does not work at its full capacity, and therefore, by the time most liver problems are diagnosed, the condition is quite severe. The liver organ can be 2/3 diseased and still function effectively. Liver disease occurs in about 3% of all dogs.<img src="http://www.b-naturals.com/newsletter/wp-admin/images/spacer.gif" align="top" border="0" height="24" width="8" /></td>
